it's my brand new 600W lumatek! woot, 100,000 lumens crackin' up in here!
oh, and I just checked it, and it's actually just covered in drywall dust from cutting a hole in the ceiling. I swept up the floor and everything, but apparently spaced on checking the plant leaves

oh fuck yeah. I was under space/money constraints earlier, but I bought my first house in may, so this is basically a little housewarming gift to myself Plus now I have my med card so I can really justify it!
PS. my roommate wants you all to know how badass he is for climing into the ceiling via our garage crawlspace (it's fucking TIGHT up there) and helping me cut a hole in the ceiling for the ventilation, and wiring an exhaust fan out our chiminey with me. I've got another hood just like that, and I'm getting another 250W metal halide to supplement my floros for a veg area

Hempy buckets. those two on the right are in 6" rockwool cubes because that's how I got them, but I just cloned all of those three plants so I'm gonna flower them in about 2 weeks, and then no more rockwool for me.

Right on, cheap and easy wick set up.
Two things I have in abundance are verm and buckets.
Time to get some perlite and experiment with hempy buckets!

I'm sooo jealous! I can't wait to get a house (without a roomy tho). I'm almost afraid of the lab i would create though. When the time comes I'll post back here. (years from now, lol). I'd like to see the buds you produce with proper lighting.

they're in 3 gallon tubs right now, but I just picked up a couple 5 gallon buckets from home depot I'm thinking I'm going to transplant to tonight or tomorrow, and then flower in a week or two

Yah, I don't know whether to go with 3 or 5 gal buckets. Thing is my closet is only going to 4 ft wide and 2 ft deep. Gonna have to scrog it but still keep my containers small enough to fit at least 3 if not 4 plants in there. I have my old 3 gal pots I used with soil grows, I was planning on using them. I'll probably end up picking your brain at some point since this will be my first foray into the hempy world.

just the regular Floramicro and florabloom. 5ml of micro and 10ml per gallon during early veg, and slowly step it up to 10ml and 20ml during heavy flowering. my tap water here is only 45ppm () so I don't even need to adjust the pH

Good shit man.
What kind of light(s) did you upgrade to?
My first 2 plants have there first 4 leaves, and I'm keeping them about an inch away from my x2 40Watt bulbs.
I wanna upgrade my lights very soon, however I cant afford to shell out $200 on a 250W HPS light setup.
ideas?

Thanks guys! I'm pretty excited, needless to say
Luckybucket; those are both Lumatek 600W ballasts and Xtrasun air cooled reflectors. I have a GE lucalox 600W HPS bulb in on light and a Sunpulse metal halide 3K in the other side. unfortunately, bigger lights just cost more money. I would suggest browsing around the Grow Room Design forum a litte, some people have posted links to some very cheap lights, but I think you should expect to shell out at least $100-$150.
try htgsupply or RVF is having a 20% off sale right now (plus they're a sponsor, so you know they're growery safe )
