dunking is not always necessary, depending on how aggressively you mist, i mist my tubs aggressively, but i don't use polly in all the holes, so i need to, if i leave them for a few days they tend to dry out a bit so i poor water into the tub down the sides alittle at a time, some times up to a quart depending on how far along the flush is. the same with misting if the flush is going like hell then i mist like hell, don't forget cubes are like ten % water so they suck it up.
and a Martha and a tub are totally different, as is relative humidity, and substrate hydration. a Martha has moisture pumped in, and a tub relies on moisture in the substrate, and in my case i use a casing layer, mostly because i'm lazy.
different things work for different people. my way may or may not work fore you. but my way works well for my needs.
this is a resent tub of Malabar, i've had better, but no worse.
if you get an uneven flush like this one, with some more mature fruits than others, cut the cap off of the more mature ones and print them, leave the stems for a couple/few days till the others are ready then harvest every thing at once, including any aborts, if you have any, but leave the pins that are all ready in place for the next flush.

Well thats then end of the first flush with a total of an oz. and an eitgh. Gave 2 sacks to my friends the other night. I'm gonna ask them how they were when they take em. I got about 7 spore prints off them the one you see is dark as shit. I might have to keep that one haha. The rest of them are kinda light but still useable. Any suggestions of what to do to prepare for the 2nd flush?

I dont think it affected it much. But I dont really know haha. I will probably get at least another flush off of it and we will see what the next one looks like.

That's great man. I have a cat litter box filled with red wood chips and all the mycelium i cut off the shroom bottoms from the entire outdoor season last year. The mycelium has spread from the bases and i hope it will produce as it gets colder (cyan's) I have some spore prints but really don't know what to do with that stuff and i don't want to try cyan's inside. Where did you learn to grow mushrooms?Links to a good tek would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to try indoor mushroom growing. Also what are the popular active indoor strains that are easy to grow? If thats too much i can tuck tail and go dig up my shroomery password. But any help is appreciated.
