perpetual harvest

I've been planning out a perpetual harvest cab (go here to read more) and would like to discuss the "perpetual harvest" part with all of you.
My current plan is to start from seed, grow them out until they can be sexed, take multiple clones of each female, then flower the originals to see which clones should be saved as mothers. After that, it gets a bit hazy. Hopefully some of you have some pointers.
1. Once I get the process underway, I'd like to take 12 clones every 30 days, veg them for 30 days, then move the best ones to the flower chamber to flower for 60ish days. So there will be overlap in the flower chamber, and I should be able to harvest about every month. Is this plan feasible? Am I overlooking anything important (or minor)?
2. My mom room will be 48"x8-10"x27"H (haven't decided on exact width yet). My clone room will be the same width and depth, but 18"H. The flower chamber will be 48"x36"x60"H with a 600W HPS. I know the flower room is a good size, but what about the mom and clone ones? Is it reasonable to try to fit 3-4 moms in this space? Can I veg 10-12 clones for a month in this much space? I plan to LST as much as necessary.
That's all I've got for now, I'll post more as it comes up. Thanks for any advice!

To get a perpetual harvest I say root your clones for 3 weeks, veg for 3 weeks, and flower for 9 weeks. With 3 systems of whatever size you choose, that would give you a crop every 3 weeks. Giving that you replace the clones you move to veg, and replace the plants that you moved from veg to flower and so on.

Sounds like a much better schedule to me! My only concern is how much room the clones will need to be vegged for a total of six weeks..
My cab plans will have to change a bit. I plan to stack two veg rooms on top of each other. The amount of space available is 14"Wx36"Dx45"H, but due to ventilation, the bottom chamber will have to be 11"W. I figure I can fit two (or three?) bonsai moms and rooting clones (for 3 weeks) in the bottom chamber and veg clones for another 3 weeks in the top chamber. Is this a reasonable expectation? Maybe make the bottom one 20"H and the top one 25"H. Will I need more than 25" of head space for 6-week-old, LST'd clones, and if not, how many could fit in this 504"2 (3.5'2) area?

I'll give you some rough measurements of my setup tonight when I get back from there. I keep my clones under fluorescents for the first 3weeks, or until a good root system shows. And your measurements that you have now for head space should be about right. When mine come out of veg they are usually between 12-18 inches tall which quickly changes once they hit flower.

Great, thanks for your help!
If anyone has any experience or ideas on the subjects of coir with cannacoco a/b+pk1314, bonsai moms, or anything else that seems fitting, feel free to chime in.

Ok my friends area which was used for veg and cloning measures 50"Wx31"Dx50"H, and they sat raised 31 inches off the floor. But now that has been converted to a cloning closet which could hold at very least 92 clones from bonsai mothers.

So he's got about 3 times the floor area as I'll have, but similar head space. I didn't expect to be able to fit 30 clones in there! How long does he leave those 92 clones in that room? I'm assuming that's not where they stay until flowering.
So if my bonsai moms take up two of my three feet in the bottom chamber, I'll still have room to keep 9ish clones under a dome in there with them, and the top chamber can easily hold 9 clones until they've vegged for 6 weeks. Fantastic, thanks so much for your help with these plans.
I'd still like to discuss coir and bonsai moms with anyone knowledgable/interested.

No the clones will only be there for 3 weeks until being replaced. The clones are usually only about 6 inches max when leaving the closet, depending on how short or tall the cuttings was to begin with. Wish I could help you on the coir portion, but as of yet I have no experience in that department.
