So I have been in a bit of a jam lately haven't been able to post much. But the reason I am posting this now is because this winter my landlord didn't keep up on this place I have been living for almost two years, and the pipes ended up breaking and he wanted me to pay for it.(this is all going on while I have that grow that is in grow journal going on which I had to abandon because of this shit)Anyway he says that I have to pay for it and clean up all the shit literally that leaked all over the floor downstairs. So I ended up calling this legal advice line and they said the best thing is to move out which I did. Now here is the twist he ended up going into this place before I was completely moved out and found some shake from that last grow and some other random shit that isn't very important besides the shake. The important thig is that he took my shake and I am worried that he will go to the police and get me into trouble. But I thought he is not legally able to go in there unless he contacts me or serves me an eviction anyway. Let me know your opinions on what I should do.

Was there a clause in the contract that said he could? Does he have proof he found it there? If he has no proof call the cops on him and say you say him smoking a j outside your house when you went to go get stuff, or just kill him either one works. Also unless your contract said otherwise it is the OWNERS duty to fix any problems, he needs to get his shit straight.

Never ended up signing a lease before moving in so no contract or anything.

No contract no lease nothing. Just brought 350 to him every 1 for the past 2 years.

Well he can come in whenever he wants I would assume, and you have no obligation to actually give him any money, or to fix anything. Unless you had some sort of verbal contract and it happens to be legally binding where you are. Idk though, i am not a legal expert.

He can't do shit with the shake. If he tries to pin it on you just deny it's yours I mean he's the one in possession of it. Without a contract neither of you can really force the other to do anything about the leakages.
