 Ground/bush Weed cultivation advice.

Hey, so swim has this farm, swim doesn't reside there, but could go somewhat regularly, once a fortnight, or perhaps once a week, he says.
Swim wants to know a few things about growing some cannabis there. The farm itself has pretty much perfect conditions, albeit a little cold. The soil there is a nice shade of light brown, uniform without clumps, has a creek nearby and plenty of options with regards to shade/lack thereof, grass/no grass and location in relation to the creek.
The only problems would be the lack of time that swim is there, and possible animal/pest destruction.
So what would you tell swim to help him grow the perfect bud? Swim's new to this, never done it before, so any advice would be handy.

I would tell him to buy this:
Bible
Read, reread, read two more times. That book is one of the most valuable tools for the new grower and great reference for the old farts too.

Not to hijack your thread or anything but, where can you buy books like that not online, Like in a store. Do you think a store like Borders would have it?

dig 2 foot by 2 foot holes and fill them with a combination of these products.
 
that should give you a healthy start.
neem oil works well for pest control.

I doubt it. I wouldn't be seen on camera buying a serious cultivation book. Don't do that. A HT is one thing a growers bible is probable cause for them to come visit you. Get a Visa gift card or something. Have it shipped to a friend if need be. Just order from a site you feel good about. I've never bought anything through the linked site btw. It was a google hit. I can't recommend those guys either way.

Ive seen many books on growing both marijauna and psilocybin mushrooms in Borders, including a few of the Cannabibles!
By the way...the 'swim' crap is so dumb. I think anyone can see through that.

I realise I have a ways to go, that's why one of those books seems good, just what I need. But I don't have a credit card.
Are the nutrients that helpful if the soil is already obviously quite healthy? There's cow shit everywhere, it just seems so good for plants. Also, I've heard I should grow a small sprout before planting it into the ground, in a mini-greenhouse of sorts, is this necessary? And how would I go about preventing animals from eating/trashing the plant?
The "swim crap" is not a personal creation. I did that because I wasn't sure if it was part of the rules or not, obviously not. But it's not that useless, if I had any personally identifiable information on my account here, and the cops tried hard enough, they could put it together, and have proof of my conspiring.
There's no trail if you say swim, doesn't matter if it's clear is day who 'swim' is, it's not a confession.
