One of my kids is showing some black spots on their leaves and it's pot-mate is starting to show some yellowing of it's bottom leaves. From my quick interweb research, I'm thinking it's a magnesium deficiency. Any ideas?
Mg def. starts from the top of your plants and works its way down to the bottom. Two plants in a pot that small is a no no, they're both fighting for water and nutes and now their root systems are getting cramped as well.
Clawing and twisting is usually a sign of N toxicity, if you're feeding your plants a lot of N, cut it out of the diet and give them some plain water for a while. The first pic looks like the beginnings of a P def. to me.
