is there a size limit on how big of a cutting you can root?

i want to take clones that are big enough to throw right into budding after they root.is this possible?

Its possible but not probable. You can get most any cutting to root if given the proper care but I find that I get a much lower success rate with larger cuttings.

Not only that, but the growth won't be near as fast with a weak root system.
