Alright, this is a fairly good sized grow area. I have a budget of $2000. Only higher end equipment for me btw. No homemade stuff. That budget includes power tools that I don't own yet. It does not include the lumber and some hardware that I will need. I'll also have to buy some wire. Oh well. This isn't a thread about strains or this and that. Its an equipment thread. The rest is another topic for another thread later.
Dimensions of growroom
10'x8'x7' 80sqft 560cf
Environmental Factors
1. High heat in summer 2. Freezing in winter 3. High humidity
Equipment Prospects
Lighting Hydrofarm Daystar reflector Hydrofarm cord set 15' Xtrasun Sodium 1000W ballast Eye Hortilux 1000W Super HPS bulb
Light Rail 3.5 System w/ 10 RPM motor Mylar 54" x 100', 2mm thickness
Air Can Fan 269 CFM- RS6 (inline exhaust fan) Can 66 412 CFM 6" flange (carbon filter)* Hydrofarm 6" insulated ducting 25' Analogue Dehumidifier (20L of water per day max)
All right. Thats it. The total is right at $2000 including tax and shipping. I will probably need a 100cfm booster fan to bring cool air into the space at some point, but for security reasons, I'm going to try and get away with not using it.
I will be posting pics of the entire process of building this space. Kinda a DIY type thing with instructions and all that.
Ideas, thoughts, criticism, and questions are welcome. Thanks!
I think I do. I'm sure I missed a couple of things. I meant to add that with the Can Fan combo, I'll end up with 200CFM of exhausted, odorless air.
The light mover is being put in place for a SOG that will get underway in phase 2 of the grow room. During that phase, a veg room will be built. I'll keep mothers in a more environmentally sound location under a 200W CFL. I'll have room for 4 mothers btw. I think that will be enough.
Anyway, this planning phase has taken me about 3 months. $2000 is a lot of money for me, so I want to get the most bang for my buck including good warranties and awesome yields.
Gee thanks. I had no idea lolz. Yeah, I am getting that hortilux bulb though. I just want to try it out. Now, if my funds would show up, I can crank out some pics. Dammit.
