So I bought some bud this past weekend and it smells weird. It's not your typical weed/skunky smell. It smells like something that has gone bad. One of my friend's described it as a "sweaty" smell. It doesn't taste that great to smoke either. It's not mids and doesn't have any seeds, it looks really nice. WTF is this?

Could have something to do with how it has been stored too. I got some brick weed once that smelled and tasted like soap from being shipped in detergent powder. This was long ago and I smoked it anyway because it was all that I had.

Could of been smuggled OUT of prison. That would surely give you an assy sweaty smell / taste

It may be moldy, though I don't see anything visually wrong with it.
I don't really remember how good the high was. I smoked it and went to bed. I'm pretty sure it wasn't anything mind blowing.
I doubt it's been smuggled, I live in B.C. and bought it in Whistler. I guess this is what I get for forgetting my buds back home and resorting to asking around for weed.
It's not skunk.
I smoked it saturday night and woke up on sunday with an irritated throat. My throat feels even worse today. I'm starting to think it must be moldy...

Is moldy weed dangerous to smoke? Wouldn't just the mold get destroyed because of heat?
