alright, so ive got a vabnet its about 34"tall,1 1/2' wide in front and about 8" on the sides. ive got a 7" fan at the top for ex, and one small 70mm fan at the bottom for intake. ive got 2 64wcfls, 4 42w, and 2 26w cfls. with all but 2 26s on it fluxes from 74-82F. when the outside temp is 77 the inside reaches 79-81F.ive also got just an open hole at the bottom also.I took 2 plastic containers and taped them together, I then cut a hole at the top of it and riged a 70mmcompfan to it. so i figure if it gets too hot ill fill it with ice and stick it in the cab and have the fan shoot cold air up to the lights to kinda cool them?. now i have the exfan with ducting shooting out of the cab, but it just sits there kinda angled twards the ceiling. cause heat rises, so my question is what can i do to eliminate some heat?
alright so i think my issue is the ambient temps. but my prob is i dont have tools or the money to rig some elabrit shit up. how are some ways you guys vent your exaust, and to what area?
where would i vent it out? if 81 is in the good then i wont worry about it. 81-83 isnt too hot? i had a thought though. what if i moved it into the closet and put the doors on,then have the air venting out into the room. would that keep temps down?or would it not matter because the ambient temps outside the closet would eventually warm up, that would raise the temp in the closet...or somthing. lol, i guess ill mess around with it a bit more.
well ive got it in the closet now. but in my closet ive got the exhaust sealed through one of the doors, and theres a small hole in the floor, wich i stuck 1 70m fan on top to shoot in some air. but with all lights on the temp is around 77.6 and rising. ive got both my windows open to kinda move some of the hot air out. im thinking monday I might crawl through the nasty ass small attic I have and see if i can cut a hole through the ceiling, and run the ducting up there. i was kinda avoiding doing that, but if its the only way then so be it.
well heres an update. i got rid of the ice, and ran the ducting up through a hole into the attic. now the temp in the cabnet is an even 77.0 no higher no lower. so i think im good. i could even turn the all the lights on and it would probly be aroun 79 or 80. but now that its blowing that hot air into the attic, will it escape from the roof. or just get super hot up there?http://http://
