This is going to be my first grow journal, I am only using bag seed but I would like to perfect my skills on bag seed before I get some genetics. These are my supplies, 400 watt hps light, (still waiting for that to come in the mail),small oscillating fan, humidifier, extension cord and power bar, digital thermometer with humidity levels, 1 bag organic mix potting soil. Was wondering where you get good nutes from ,and where to order from? I have put 4 seeds in 4 dixie cups still waiting for them to germinate. Now heres some pics. Germination I wonder how you guys keep the heat low cuz I turned my 400 watt system on for maybe an hour an the temp rose to about 90 degrees so I turned it off for now cuz I dont want my babies burnin any tips would be much apprecciated! Oh and I got a pic of my secret grow space.

Sounds like you have a plan. Have you thought about dealing with smell or how you will give them 12 hours uninterrupted darkness?
I'll definitely be watching this one.

I get good nutes from the hydro store. If I didn't have several of them near by I would order my nutes online. From my research it seems that a lot of it is derived from personal preference. I can only tell you from my single experience growing so I am of little help, but I wanted to use a single nute and not have to deal with mixing a bunch of different ones together so I chose the general hydro FloraNova series. It worked like a charm by itself. That's just me though. I think I recall Dr. Penguin mentioning that there was one brand that engineered their nutes specifically for chronic but I can't recall what that brand was. I'll be watching this one too. Good luck!

I have a regular timer I just forgot to take a pic. but I also have one coming with the light I ordered, along with those adjustable pulleys so that I can get the light where I want it to be you know. Will post more pics when I get out of work. So you guys have a better idea on my grow setup. As for the smell not to worried at this point in time I live in a duplex and the other floor isn't occupied.

I dont have enough space to show you my grow area but it is 4 ft. high the width is 33 inches and is 18 in. deep, It is an old closet I took apart so when I slide the drawers in you cant see the light escape.

Update got temp down got first set of true leaves running my 400 watt hps 24 hours for the next two weeks then i will most likely switch to 12 and 12 to sex, then hopefully one of the three are female so I can clone the shit out of her. I will probably transplant into half gallon containers when I notice the roots have reached the bottom of the dixie cups . Temp. usually ranges from 70-80 degrees F. depending on time of day. humidity is between 25 and 30% I have a container of water in the compartment to raise the humidity, but is not working to well. Any input or suggestions would be much appreciated, and the reason there are only three now is because my cat ate the top off the other one. Will update soon!

Here a pic. update I still have light runnung 24 hours I have not added any nutes yet I have monster bloom from grotek For some reason the plant on the right I think has nitrogen burn from to much being in the soil not for sure on that but thats my guess. Transplanted four days ago into half gallon containers temps and humidity still are about the same If you guys have any ideas on what I should and should not be doing would be much appreciated.

Update my plants are now 15 inches I have 4 feet of growing space and was wondering when I should switch to 12 and 12 and not have to worry about burning the tops. I picked up some blood meal the other day from home depot, and another question could I mix that with my monster bloom? My total ratios for my nutes would be 15-50-30 do you think that is too much? Temps still range from 70 to 80 degrees. humidity is still 25-30% I also found out all three are females I some how got real lucky. Anyway time for some porno pics for you guys.

Looking good. I haven't used blood meal in a while but doesn't it need to made into tea or incorporated into the soil? I don't think you can just ass it to your fert though.

Just switched my lights to twelve and twelve about a week ago. I also got some white and black poly. They also got transplanted into bigger pots cuz I don't want them to get root bound in the midst of flowering so far so good though. Temps are still 70-80 degrees F. humidity around 30 percent. I am hoping by the middle of may before it starts getting to hot I can harvest, but we will see. now for the good stuff.

Buds have formed I am a month into flowering now and my buds aren't that big but like I said before I am trying to perfect my skills before I go with some genetics. I have trained one of them because I vegged for too long and really didn't have enough room for it to flower without training her. I am still having the same temp. ranges, also still reading the same humidity levels. Now for some bud porn.
