Well I just made this I wanted to share it, I hope that it proves useful to someone other than me, I I know that it was cheap done but thats kinda the Idea, please feel free to modify, but if it works better you should let me know lol.
Ok to start.
[gradient:#14E029,#] Step One [/gradient] Get Materials: 1. Air Pump 2. Aquarium Air Stone 3. Container the size you want the cloner. ( needs to be able to hold water...) 4. Styro-foam ( a sheet or some to make slats) 5. Thick black plastic 6. Clear Plastic for top cover 7. Double side sticky tape or other adhesive. 8. Something to cut with, I used a razor and scissors.
Pump, stone , tape, bin, styro-foam sheet, can be obtained at walmart for about 25 bucks.
[gradient:#14E029,#]Step Two[/gradient] Get the Styro-foam and your container that you wish to use
Measure the styro-foam up with your container, and either make a sheet that will fit snug a bout 1/2 inch down from the lip. [gradient:#D9181B,#]Make sure of this before you cut them all if doing slats!!!!!![/gradient]
Mine are slats
[gradient:#14E029,#]Step Three[/gradient] Put hole thru the styro-foam, in some i put more than other
Do this how you see fit styro-foam it soft just remember that to many holes damages the structural integrity of it.
Now put tape one the best side of the styro-foam medium, It might be to tor up to adhere, and remember to make sure the surface is clean or else it will not stick well!
You can see in this one the extra hole i was talking about.
[gradient:#14E029,#]Step Four[/gradient] Get the thick black plastic and align your slats on them or your styro-foam sheet, adhere, I flipped mine over and rubbed the back to help by smoothing it out and warming it up.
Trim around the edges , leave about a half inch of the black plastic all the way around the styro-foam, the pic is of the untrimmed one. , Poke hole thru the plastic according to the hole in you foam.
you can kinda see what I used I lead pencil.
[gradient:#14E029,#]Step Five[/gradient]
Now make sure that it fits snuggly and does not fall down any futher!!
If it meets our 3rd rate standard add your Water, air pump and air stone,
You will probably have to weight down the end of the air stone. Now how i did this was My tube H had chosen already had a "t" connector attached to it so I ran my line thru it. but you could probably run it thru a notch made in the side of a piece of the styro-foam!
[gradient:#14E029,#]Step Six[/gradient] Add Pump and stone Here are mine.
1200ccpm
They say soak the stone for an hour or so before use!!!!
I used a piece of sailing rig to weigh it down
Make sure that the water is high enough to bubble but low enough not to touch the bottom of the clone's stem base bubbles can hit them!
There should be about 1 inch gap between water and stem.
Put it all together, fashion clear plastic to the top for a humidity dome, I am using clear plastic bag but bout to change it to a clear sterlite shoe box.
Heres mine finished,
and if you are wondering what you can do with some of the chunks of styro-foam I used them as a wedge to help lock in the clones, I made the hole so I could pull roots back thru them.
Hope this helps some one!
