Building a custom res...

Anyone know how hard, or even better one that has tried, it is to make a custom res? Space limitations and such make it crappy for a res placement for aero. I have an idea to make one, but wonder if its possible, or how hard it would be.
Thanks.

what is your application? I have a single-tank DWC. You can easily make a resevoir from a gallon of water, rubbermaid container, etc...

Ok, i have 5'8" head room for my grow room. I want to do aero system. But to do it, with the space im given, i need to raise the room and put it under. But they dont make a decent tub or anything the size that i need so im curious as to if i can use plexi or something with silicone and make a custom sized res...
Did i get my point across better?

That should work just fine. Use something opaque if possible so you won't have to paint it to keep the light out. Check out this link on how to build a fish tank if you need any tips on construction.

That would be a lot of hassle. The easiest way would be to build a wooden box frame the size of the tub you want and line it with a pond liner, one for outdoor ponds. You could have that build in 2 hours.

well man all i can say is that is your best and most convenient option and "totes" come in a wide array of sizes, so I'm almost certain you will find one to fit your needs

Really my biggest problem is deciding on what system to use. If i go drip, i can do remote res, problem solved. But if i want aero, because of height limitations i need a really short, but large enough res to where im not filling it every other day.
