Just a little something to keep us busy!

We're trying to provide a comprehensive dual-purpose format here featuring static information as well as a dynamic community full of members who participate across a host of active forums. It is our goal to offer an accessible wealth of reference and participatory information at the Growery. But in order to get that snowball rolling, we need to foster a base of knowledge that will attract and draw in new members who can then continue to fill our vaults with their own unique brand of expertise and knowledge!

This contest is designed to help us grow that initial knowledge base on the Main Site of the Growery, which functions in a manner similar to Wikipedia. Like Wikipedia, all registered members may create new documents or add additional information to existing documents on the main site through the use of the tools located at the bottom of every main site page. Since our sister site the Shroomery utilizes the exact same content management system as the Growery, please reference the following video tutorials to learn how to use our wiki-style content management system.

Contest Details:

1. Create as many comprehensive and informative new documents on the main site's
    Marijuana Cultivation or General Information sections (or sub-sections) as you can.

2. Post in this thread with a link to each original document you wish to submit.

3. The last day to submit your documents will be September 16th, 2009.
     A new topic will be created listing everyone's contributions, including
     a poll allowing all members to vote on which documents they believe are
     the most useful and informative for the Growery.

4. Voting will run for ten days and winners will be announced shortly thereafter.

Contest Prizes:

TEN Fourth Place Winners will receive
          A complimentary One Month Supporter Account ($5 value).

THREE Third Place Winners will receive
          A complimentary Six Month Supporter Account ($24 value).

TWO Second Place Winners will receive
          A complimentary One Year Supporter Account along with this sexy Legalize T-Shirt ($65 value).

ONE First Place Winner will receive
          A complimentary One Year Supporter Account, this sexy Legalize T-Shirt, and $100 cash money ($165 value).

ONE Grand Prize Winner will receive
          This totally sweet Sunlight Supply New Wave T5 24 System with bulbs from the generous sponsors over at
          RVF Garden Supply, along with this sexy Legalize T-Shirt and a complimentary One Year Supporter Account. ($195 value).

The Fine Print:

Contributors must make every effort to create original documents for the Growery. You may include third-party information for reference, but failure to cite the original source for any previously published information or images that you may choose to include in your document(s) will disqualify you from receiving any prizes. Each individual contributor will only be eligible to win either the Grand Price or the First Prize, but not both. In the event that a single contributor receives the two highest places at the conclusion of polling, they may choose either the Grand or First prize as well as an additional two year Supporter Account (for a total of three years). Any vandalism to a contributor's document will disqualify the delinquent from any prizes and will result in a server side IP ban. Lastly, we reserve the right to tweak the final format of polling as well as the prize pool, but will make every effort to be consistent and certainly will not pull some bogus juke maneuver on our beloved contributors.
