my loan check should be arriving within 4-8 weex and im thinkin about building a new gaming rig
i havnt gamed in ages and i want to lol
but theres also a lot of other stuff one could get with that much dough
last time i spent it all on dr00gz n raves
it was a blasty blast but i want something more long lastin this time i believe

A nice gaming computer would be nice. You could probably build it yourself 600-800 depending on how much u want to put into it
If you have any debt, I would recommend paying that off a bit.
I would spend my 1500 on drugs, credit card debt, and then spend some on the lady

im planning on getting top of the line sheezy breezy
the rig i would make would run around 1500 lol
i need like 4gb of ram and a vid card with 1gb of ddr5
and some 24 inch monitor
ima give my old comp 2 my gf

Yea I can spend 400 give or take depending on what you want on a video card. Then you gotta get processors...Board...You get the idea.
I'd just get some grow lamps.

my best friend just recently built a brand new computer
whole thing was 800 including a 24 inch LCD monitor
hes a big fan of CS and other games
building it yourself is key

Yes I do that, and look for sales. $800 including a monitor definately isn't going to be some bleeding edge computer.

You can build one for cheap, but the new games are requiring new graphic cards...Costing 300 and up. Mine was around 525.

XFX GeForce 8800 GTX
Instead of building a new computer I just replaced my video card. My computer is fast enough to support all games in the next few years I would have to assume so I just went ahead and spent that money on a real good card...More RAM and it runs great. All I do is game on that PC so I actually ended up saving money since I didn't build a completely new computer, and I got some good graphics

a bang for the buck tower is always going to be around a grand IMO.
I spend around 800-1200 and that usually doesn't include tower, psu, hdd.
