I was looking around, and was wondering if these were pretty good feeding schedule?simple feedand thisexpert feedIll probably start with simple since this will be my 1st grow. Also how often would you apply this to the reservoir.once a week, once every two weeks,or do I need to empty out reservoir, refill with fresh water then add nutes?

I like to empty and refill my rez with fresh nutes once per week. The GH simple feed program has always worked wonders for me. It's really not all that complicated. Best of luck!

one other thing could you describe the growth stages in the feeding schedule? As far as I knew there were just 3 seedling veg and flower, but they have 8 stages.

3 basic stages yes, but if you wanted to break it down a bit further you can definitely break the flowering down into 3 separate stages.  Early, mid, and late flowering.  I'm sure you could do the same thing with veg as well, but i don't know how much of a difference that would make.  Generally when feeding growing plants you want to give them lighter doses of nutes to start and gradually work up to a higher dose as they mature and are able to handle large doses.  For instance you wouldn't want to give a seedling a full dose, and you wouldn't want to give plants nearing the flowering phase 1/4 strength doses..
