Today is obviously an important day. This determines whether we deal with the old preservation of traditional morals, the one track minded right wing lunatic method. Put the roor down, roll a blunt for the road, you and all your friends Mexi-pack your 87' crown vic and go cast your ballot. Bare in mind that this election could ultimately determine whether or not you will ever be able to smoke green in peace.

But dont they try to run most bills by the president before they are passed?
I dont know maybe im just talking out of my ass but I was under the notion that the president usually affects which conditional measures are taken against americans.

Obama has already said hes against legalizing cannabis, I don't know how McCain feels about it, but I can guess he is also against it. There is no pot friendly candidate who has a chance of winning.

and we need representatives who would even pass a bill ending cannabis prohibition first, before we need a president that wouldn't veto it
cannabis is not going to be legal for a long time, a lot of people still need to grow old and die.

No, barack is part of the "de-prioritize" crowd. Whether it is legal or not, "pot-friendly" would actually be the best way to describe obama. The indirect dodgey attitude depicts this, and advocating hopelessness because the best suited candidate might not full blown legalize, decriminalizing is the first step.

Looks like Obama is going to win this in a landslide, at least early. Give it another hour or two and we should have a much better idea

I sort of have socialized medicine. I don't know what to compare it to though because I have never had normal health care. Its not that bad I guess.

Yes! finally we will get to smoke our wayd in peace!! I was so happy to see Obama win tonight. I know he is going to change this country for the better! I think he will go down as one of the best presidents we've ever had. And to you people who say that Obama isn't going to legalize medical marijuana I don't think you really get it. Even if Obama did say that he never said he would legalize it you know thats going to change now that hes actually president! He's gotta say those things so that the weed haters out there would vote for him. Appearance is everything when your running for something like president. But now that he's actually won he can be himself and show everyone that he will legalize marijuana!

if you want to look into socialized medicine, look at how "well" we treat our veterans.
that is 1 example of socialized medicine in the USA, and it is an utter failure.
