i just got back from some bars, wearing my ron paul for president shirt, and i had over 10 people (IN LOS ANGELES) tell me "yeah go ron paul". i only had one bitch give me a wierd look like "what are you thinking, ron paul?"
one black dude i was talking to told me this: i like ron paul, but he couldn't make it so i voted for obama.
how the FUCK is obama anything close to ron paul? don't people realize they represent two completely different and opposing ideologies?
obama is a socialist. i don't see how that's really debatable. taking peoples' earnings and giving them to other people = redistribution of wealth = SOCIALISM

anybody with a lick of economic knowledge should have voted ron paul because all other candidates stand for expanding federal gov't spending, which we undeniably can't afford.

my dad was super pissed about oboomba getting elected, and ranting about how my inheritance was going to be swindled because of obama. so i told him to invest my portion in gold. BUT THEN HE LOOKS AT ME LIKE IM CRAZY. WTF???! i don't want my inheritance getting fucked either, so please do as i say and invest my money in gold so i know i can get it back in 20-50 years, regardless of how fucked the dollar gets anytime soon.
endnote: people have fucked our country over super hardcore, don't realize it, are excited about it, and blame freedom lovers like me for the problems today ("lack of govt regulation caused the financial meltdown"). more like if you had faith in the real free market and yourself, instead of in the govt, you might be able to make a buck, and ACTUALLY KEEP IT. but instead, we have grown lazy and unwilling to work. so let's let the govt take care of us by abusing those who really produce things for us (aka tax the rich give to the poor)

Ron Paul would have been awful for international diplomacy. He's a major isolationist, that was my main problem with his politics. He had some good fresh ideas but I dont think he had it all together upstairs

basically, instead of starting preemptive wars, interfering globally (ie korea, vietnam, bay of pigs, panama, columbia, mid east, etc), and generally pissing people off with our presence in their country [so that's the interventionist foreign policy right there], we would return to DIPLOMACY and have good foreign relations [non-intervention, not isolation].
ron paul was painted as an isolationist by the media, and it hurt him greatly because of its disinformation.
ron paul's international attention came mostly from his avocation of this non-intervention foreign policy. and all the soldiers overwhelmingly supported Paul in the GOP primaries. there might be a reason for this...

Yeah im not having the agrument. I followed ron paul as close as his own followers. what he preached was full fledged isolationism
it doesnt matter at all. because not even enough people agreed with his beliefs to get him the GOP nomination
