so here are few pics of my plants. Really good bagseed in a soiless mix fed with GH nutes . I whorled phillotaxy plant was toppped and has 3 main stalks now which is nice. We'll have to see how they turn out. I have a mother for each of the plants that are flowering right now plus 3 clones each.
heres a shot of the 3 top branches A close up of where it was topped
the one on the right is being left alone to grow out.

SO the bad news the one on the left is a hermi. I just noticed today. there weren't alot of pods but definately enough. They only have a month left and I pulled off all the pods I could see. How bad would it be to let it finish with the other plant. This is all for my head stash so I'm not too worried about a few seeds but if its going to be ridiculous I'll get rid of the trouble maker. Any advice???

If you can keep a very detailed, frequent eye on it, you could always keep pulling off the balls, if they aren't popping up at a rate that would make this too hard to achieve.

thats kinda what I was thinking. Will it increase pod production as flowering continues just likes the increasing bud production? How badly will a couple missed pods affect the other plant? I don't have a fan in there so theres not alot of air circulating so hopfully that'll reduce pollen moving around to much. Thatnks for the help.

pollination is an insanely efficient system, especially within a closed system like an indoor grow. a couple of missed pods will almost guarantee pollination. you need to be hyper-vigilant. if you find some pollen immediately spray it with water to inactivate it.

I'm not really sure, but if it does start to get out of control at some point, at least you've given your buds more time to develop, so hopefully it will be more potent and have more weight for you to toke on. But yeah, with a month to go, any pollen that busts loose is definitely not going to be desirable.

well the decision had to be made so when I found more pods than I thought was reasonable I cut it down. Hopefully It didn't do too much damage already.

personally i wouldn't fuck with a hermie plant, it's way to easy to miss a small pod and have it ruin your entire sensi grow with seeds. It's a matter of choice though, you may be able to pill it off, but chances are you'll end up with some seeded buds at the end.

You want the hermie out of there. The closer it gets to harvest the more important it becomes. Two weeks from harvest and you end up with these premature seeds that fuck up the bud and can't be use to grow (not that I would recommend growing seeds from a hermie source).

Yeah, its always best to err on the side of caution. I was mentioning the possibility of pinching them off and it working out because this can often settle the matter when it comes to more pure sativas and also feminized seeds.
