I was over at ICMAG and checked out a post saying theres dual firing ballasts that fire 2x600w bulbs using less power than a 1000w ballast.
I've done many google searches trying to find a ballast that does this and all I could find was a lumetek 2x600w ballast which seems like it uses 1200w and fires two bulbs.
