Lowryder #2 is an autoflowering strain, which means regardless of what kind of light it is exposed to, it will flower in about 18-20 days after planting the seed.

How much would one look to yield from one of those? A friend was looking at Diesel Ryder instead of Lowryder to get a better potency. Can't wait!

I had a friend grow some out. He said yield ranged from a few grams to almost a half oz. He said it was above average smoke too. Lowryders are perfect for outdoor patches also as they dont get tall at all and you only have to wait about 8-9 weeks for buds so you can do more than one run per summer.

I hope it gets more then a few grams outdoor. I was hoping for a half oz or maybe even an oz per plant. I just figured since the light during the middle of the summer would be so strong it would make a difference when you harvest.

I was referring to an indoor yield, sorry for not specifying. It would probably grow a little better outdoors under the sun with constant fresh air. The only trouble with the lowryders is not being able to clone. So if you find one that is very good, whatever it yields is all you get then its gone. But for someone who just wants decent buds quick and for little cost, they are great.

Thank you, I'm just wondering if the change in color of the leaves is normal, I never grew plants to harvest seeds but this time I did, and so im wondering when these seeds are going to be ready, what signs to look for and such.

You might want to consider a hybrid, like Diesel Ryder. From what I've been reading, the potency of Lowryder isn't that great, and a hybrid like that boosts it right up to where it should be.

Id rather buy the original and breed it with a few other strains.

Yeah man, i've heard about lowryder. So it's basically like 18-20 days from planting the sprout. Not bad. I might have to try this out. Can you post some pics of the bud?

it needs potency improvement. upside, easy indoor grow, and fast flowerer. theres a few others that r mucho better autoflowers tho. and if you really want fast plants, just switch GOOD MJ to 12/12 early, dont wait for a mature plant.
if youre gonna grow weed to smoke, do it right. IMO
anyone done LR outdoors? i have a friend wanting to keep his plants small, but at the same time be durable outdoors.
i would never sugest LR to anyone who grows regularly, but this, i think, is his first season.
i promise im not tryin to diss on your thread man, i just dont care for the strain. thank God for opinions!

np, to each their own. I live in a cold climate, so im stuck with using plant strains like mr freeze, or northern lights or pink freezeland. With LR #2 my plants will be harvested during the middle of the summer, when the sun is most strong, as opposed to harvesting late in the fall and worrying about frost. I think the results will be good. So I hope ill get nice outdoor, unlike the outdoor around here which is kinda shitty. Thats just my theory.
