Ive killed some seedlings in my learning curbs and ive noticed this site isnt too active so i figure why not post, and this is a question ive had for a while. What are some strains that basically even if everything goes wrong that the crop can still survive if thats a thing?
I'd get some cheap ass seeds to practice germination and growing in general on. Hoku used to have penny hemp seeds, not sure if they still do. Pepper or tomato seeds will also suffice for practice.
Not really any such thing as a strain that survives everything, but if you take the proactive approach you should be able to make it through a cycle with almost any shorter flowering strain. I'd start with photos over autos, and learn to clone as soon as possible.
I'd also consider doing a small seed run if you have halfway decent genetics, then you will never have to worry about practice plants again.
I appreciate that, i actually hadnt thought about doing a seed run. I understand no strain is invincible but i know with the strain lsd its supposed to be really resilient, my cat fucked that one up but i trimmed and dried it, smoked it, i didnt cure it and it still got me feeling right but it was like a eighth of harvest.
