So I found my full spectrum wakyme 600w led grow light isn't as good as I thought. I e been trying to find a reasonably priced led that provides sufficient wattage and spectrum. I've looked through old posts and it seems to be a mess and really only found info that seemed to argue against itself. I'm looking at maybe 2-3 plants in a 2x4 tent. Suggestions welcomed explanation since I seem to not understand the math I guess. Thanks for any info

With high quality LED, you want about 30 watts per square foot. A 2x4 would be 8 square feet, so 240 watts should cover it.
Best option would be one of those 420 longboards, but they do cost a pretty penny.
Most affordable option would be older generation samsung f series or bridgelux eb gen2 strips in a DIY build, but with DIY LEDs, it can take some time to wrap your head around everything.
A few good premade options are the Migro array 4 and the mars SP3000.
Another option would be ordering from China through alibaba suppliers, Shenzhen Meijiu and Kingbrite are two vendors that I know of that have decent lights.
