"Run! Rabbit, Run . . ." Is The Drug Community Victim To Commercialism? ; The Jesus Economy

Good day. It has come to my attention that some self-proclaimed ethnobotanical growers and users are working just to make money.
Well, if you can't tell us what's immediately wrong with that, we're already overdue for this discussion, regardless of past threads that may have tried to address it.
Don''t live for money!
Instead of going on and on out of my own understanding, here are a list of Scripture quotes to say what I would only stretch into 15 paragraphs:
"You cannot serve both God and money." -- Jesus Christ (Matthew 6)
"Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”" -- Hebrews 13:5
"For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evils. It is through this appetite that some have strayed away from faith and damaged themselves with many pangs." -- 1 Timothy 6:10
"One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves wealth with one's income; this also is vanity." -- Ecclesiastes 5:10
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." -- Jesus Christ (Matthew 6)
Any questions? Comments? Suggestions? All input is appreciated.
P.S. I know I copied this from my Shroomery post, but this is a different website, so.

I used to sell DMT to some acquaintances for around $100 a g, as I felt that was a fair price for the time, effort, and resources involved. I'd also trade it for weed sometimes, but with my friends I would just let them pick their dose and blast off for free.
The people I sold it to were heavy drug users, and would sometimes go through an entire gram in a day. I eventually stopped selling to them.
Now days I'm more into weed. I'm setting up a decent sized hobby grow to supply myself with high grade medical marijuana, and I'm hoping to have enough to share with my friends. I'd like sell enough of it to pay for my growing expenses, but the state is ending our caregiver program so selling legally will soon be for dispensaries only. Still, I expect the black market to thrive with the high dispensary prices.
I believe there is something to be said for the difference in mindset associated with a free drug experience, so in that regard I'd much rather be giving stuff away, especially to first time users. But when it becomes a weekly thing with people bothering you for drugs, I feel no guilt in charging for them.

Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," One said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me."
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "One catches the wise in their craftiness"
You adulterated people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A fellowship of man Imagine all the people sharing all the world
You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will be as one
P.S. $100 a gram? That's really hefty. I was a part-time independent seller, and even I never went about $60.

I got through undergrad partially from sales. I regret nothing, seeing as how I devoted my time, energy, and resources into a good, gave it value, and used its value to procure other items of value which I can't produce myself.
I was never unreasonable with the pricing nor with customer complaints or questions regarding administration or sourcing.

Then Jesus said to one, “Be gone, daevil! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and One only shall you serve.’”

Why do you grow mushrooms or weed? For money?
Is monetary gain on your mind when you grow stuff?
These are the issues.
It's precisely this "well I just wanted to make a quick buck while I'm at it" that leads to Monsanto-type thinking, sister.
Freely you have received; freely give.
Each should give according to what she had decided in her heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
