 I think my dog is very sick and dying

He has fast breathing, loss of muscle mass, swollen nodes in his neck, lethargy, dark urine, off color feces, and bloody yellow boogers from his nose.
All he needs is antibiotics, which cost $20 dollars at a vet -- but the vet won't let me do it that way. She wants me to pay for a visit and get blood work done -- a total of $300.
She essentially sentenced my dog to death. Although, my girl might be able to find to amoxicillin to save his life. He has taken this drug before and it has worked for him.
I am going to let my pup push as far as he can go. He doesn't seem to be in an overly amount of pain.
Who am I to end a dog's life on my own accord? I hate the idea of shooting him if it comes to it. Because the vets won't put him down without money.

Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic prescribed by veterinarians to treat various infections in dogs and cats. It inhibits the growth of bacteria by preventing the cell wall formation of the bacterial cells. Amoxicillin should only be used to treat bacterial infections and not viral or parasitic infections.

Indeed. He has lyme bacteria and I think he has an infection from this cold. He has yellow and bloody snot.
