I have thought extensively of growing my own herb, but I am just not able to do it unfortunately. It seems too hard, and I have no place to put the lights; I wish like hell that I could grow my own herb and harvest it myself. I've wanted to do this for over 15 years but never got around to trying.
The sooner you start, the better you'll be at it. Growing can be as challenging or rewarding as you want to make it. If you research things ahead of time you can avoid many noob mistakes.
My advice? Set aside some money each time you buy weed. Eventually you'll be able to afford equipment, and begin growing. Until then, read up on growing techniques and design a space.
You can start as big or small as you want to. I recommend starting small. A 2x4 tent would be perfect if you could find the space for it. Otherwise you could look into space buckets or computer cases.
