We use to be big on making home cooked meals. We hardly ever ordered it ate out. Breakfast lunch and dinner. We ate healthier, we saved money, and we are better overall.
It's no longer like this...
It seems like we stopped trying once we moved into this house. We still make dinner, but we order food at least once a week. This may not seem like a lot to you, but it's def a lot for us
Like tonight. My wife had a long day and I don't feel like making anything so I ordered Chinese food. 40.00 on Chinese food..
I really need to push and get back into our old habits.
How often do you eat out/ order food? When you do it at home; is it quick shit or actual meals? Who does the most cooking?
Bonus 2 part question!
When's the last time you got delivery and what was it?

I probably go out or order at least once a week. When I first started grad school I was super busy and we went out for food way more often. When we looked at the bills, we decided to trim that shit down.
I definitely do most of the cooking, mainly because my wife is working while I'm finishing up my grad degree. Before that we would split it up. One thing I like about the current situation is being able to cook whatever I feel like for dinner.
I try to make meals that are versatile with the leftovers, like palak paneer, collard greens, broth/stews, roast chicken, rice/fried rice, vegetable stir-fry, etc. I also regularly make bacon and eggs in the morning, with the occasional fried bologna sandwich.
Every once in a while I'll have some extra time or be feeling frisky and get something like salmon fillets, steak, or make some french onion soup from scratch.
Our last food order was a noodle/dumpling place that we really like. I always get a noodle soup with dumplings and Chinese broccoli in the soup. That shit is fantastic.
I'm hungry now
