Just arrived a week ago.
I slept in the car for 7 days, but I finally got a cottage on a promontory -- like an island.

Yeah in area's where there are a high amount of bears you need bear canisters and when you sleep and it's wise to put up a bear electric fence. You can't get any food smells on your belongings or even leave bait out.
Lets make this our new home

I made it to Maine finally. I am settled here permanently!
Damn it was a long trip!
This is the view from my cottage.
That land is canoodia. New Brunswick. Ol ahaf mc bathy salts is over there building fans. Champ.

I recieved a perma ban for the entire website.
I am getting a new number too. I will hit you up when I get it worked out.
Being close to canada is fucking with my phone bad. It doesnt work much so I have to get a new carrier.

I'm going to start developing my land. It's a blank canvas with lots of good trees.
I am going to start with a tool shed/ chicken coop. Pics up soon.

Let me tell ya. Back in PA, you could go cut a tree down any time of the year and it would burn. These mother fucking trees in Maine do not burn unless you have treated wood (sits over time). That was a big issue when I first got here and so I slept in my car a lot. But then I got an apartment until May, when I will head to the woods.
I am dropping trees and stacking timber. For fences, barns, and so forth. I am going to drop 3 acres and sick the goats on it.
Instead of paying for a dozer, I will probably try a farmall farm tractor.

I started felling trees on the edge of the property line, making a trail. When I get in far enough, I am going to fell about 2 acres.
I will be left with the stumps and bases of trees, which is going to be a bitch. I figure I will have to burn them out.
Stumps in the field are okay for a couple years. I will sick the goats on the field.
Stumps on the driveway are obviously not good.

There has been like one snow in Maine and it was 45 degrees the last 3 days.
I don't know if this is typical of coastal Maine, but I like it.

That's almost like how it is in Texas.
It snows once every handful of years and even then it's nothing to brag about.
Our Winters average is 50. Every so often it might get down into the 30's.
Heaven forbid our city gets an ice storm. Everyone litterally loses their mind and the whole city will shut down. If I didn't know any better I'd think Korea and China were attacking.
On the plus side... The whole city is empty and abandon which allows me to do hood rat stuff with my friends.

I was at Fort Sam Houston when I was living in Texas. I remember having to come to grips with the reality that I would have a water fall of sweat running down my back into my ass in the summer time.
