I have a 9m2 room for growing and 4 600w light systems with both HPS and MH lamps. I'm planning to do a soil grow, how many plants do you guys think I should put under these lights? Should I SCROG?
Your lighting would work for 4 square meters and yield good, if it was me I would use them to light 3 square meters. Cool tubes will help to remove heat from bulbs but you will lose light output, with or without them your cooling system needs to be pretty strong to handle 2400 watts.
How many plants depends on the style growing for soil I would go for lower plant counts, bigger plants maybe 2 per square meter scrog screen .

I agree I have found that a few bigger plants will yield just as much if not more than a bunch of smaller plants i.e sea of green. I would have a few different stages of growth, allowing a symbiosis of when I need those plants I take them for a perpetual harvest. If you are going by seasons then I would do bigger plants. let them veg out after a bit of training those bushes will yield a lot with that much light, the heat from those is going to need to be vented out substantially or you will have a jungle climate. Much love
