I had a hard time transplating plants in 1 gallon CLAY pots. Ended up breaking a lot of roots. Just went to home depot and they only plastic pots? Probably will be transplating them to 15 gallon when they are ready.
Anyways would do you guys think?

I use 2 gal pots so your out of my league . Take a look at Rubbermaid totes you might find something you like . I have a couple 8qt totes I use to grow in . If there are any nurseries close by you, that would be a good place to look. Nusery pots come in all sizes and have straight walls good for packing them your grow space.

Ya clay is not the best.
Use smaller plastic before transplanting into final container. When the roots make a nice ball and hold the dirt together makes it alot easier.
Thin nursery plastic are great as can push plastic from the bottom so pop out. Smooth sides.
Remember less transplanting the better but ya you also dont want little 5 inxh plants in 5 gallons really as hard to feed and water

Nice. How many plants do you grow per 8qt? never heard of that before.

Just one per tub . I get about 3 zips dry from 2 gal pots or tubs. I'm slowly getting rid of the tubs as I get more nursery pots nothing wrong with the tubs tho they work good. I've seen folks on other forums use the 30+ qt tubs to grow in and they grow tree size shit. Homedepot sells nursery style pots pretty cheap.
