Hey guys, im new to this forum and i am looking for info and where to start to have my first successful grow. I have put 3 seeds in water to germinate, this part i know what to do. But my thing is i have Organic Potting mix, Coco Coir, perlite, and vermiculite. What can i do for this to plant my seed when they germinate ? Any suggestions?
Probably roll them all into one, the organic potting mix is probably just a bunch of peat moss with a few other minor things. Some are good but most can be too woody and needs aeration. Then you'll probably want to get some sort of nutrients for later on. If you paid $20 for the bag it might be a decent formula, but the under $12/bag tends to be all crap. Price isn't a guarantee though, I've seen some shitty $20 bags.
You'll want to formulate a good mix that has plenty of drainage and can be watered easily without it pooling up at the top for very long. The more perlite/coco/vermiculite the sooner you'll need to feed it nutrients and the more often you'll want to water it. 50% perlite and 50% soil is a good starting place.

I use Ocean Forest. Works really well. But i would pick out all the little pieces of bark. They are basically useless. But good soil, even if expensive.
