For anybody in NC who wants at least a foothold into legalization of cannabis, call or email or local representative and tell them that cannabis should be available for medical issues. Sure, I use it for minor pain from a prior injury, and to help out with my stress and occasional insomnia, which is mostly optional and could be treated with something else. But I've known plenty of people who have gone through chemo, and the only medicine that touched the chemo side-effects was cannabis.
We should not have to live in fear of arrest in order to gain access to an otherwise effective, low-risk, non-addictive, and (for you hippies out there) all-natural medicine.
