So Grodan says put your rooted cutting/seedling into a 3 inch cube to help roots develop more before putting it into soil OR peat. Is it okay to switch from hydro to soil? I assume for the 2-4 weeks that the plant is only in the 3 inch cube I will need to use hydro nutes. But will putting a 3 inch rockwool cube into soil work correctly? I'm worried about the cube staying wet too long and causing root rot. Maybe only cover the bottom inch of the cube with soil and leave the plastic on the rest above the soil? Can you switch a plant getting hydro nutes to soil nutes if its switched to soil? There isn't much info on this topic. Thanks in advance!
