It's probably been a month and a half since it started growing i dialed back the timer 30 minutes so it's 13 1/2 hours right now do you think it's good to go?
at the fifth node I topped it and the two cola's grew out so I tied them back a little so i don't have to raise the light much more
usually i wait two months to veg, but it lookded ready so.

It's my 3rd grow so there's nothing really new
the fan leaves on it are huge compared to my other grows , and there are bud like pistins if you're into that

the plant needs a night cycle to absorb water in the roots

What??? So all those people who choosee to use 24/7 are growing plants that can't drink water? If you don't have an answer own up to it, don't just post non sense.

I was just asking because I have unintentionally gotten flowers with a 14 on 10 off cycle, I prefer 18/6, but I understand needing sleep.

Very common results. Considering most if not all strains are going to start wanting to flower at below 16 hrs of day light.

Which tells me you live in an area best suited for indicas. And have a shorter grow season due to likely hood of early frost.

Cannabis seems to be fine with going directly into a flowering cycle from any veg cycle, and it's my understanding that you can put a plant straight into flower from as early as seed. I've never tried it, but I get the impression there's little to no safety risk to the plant. I veg under minimal CFL and flower in HPS, and usually my plants gain the majority of their size during the first few weeks of flower growth(usually called stretch). Like they go from a few inches to a few feet.
