It's all a joke. Think about everyone you know, how much have the majority of their lives changed since Obama got elected? I don't know about you guys, but most of the people I know are doing just about the same as they were when Bush was in charge. Truth is, it doesn't matter who is 'driving' the train, we go in the same direction. All this election crap is just a game; people fighting over red or blue. In the end, whoever gets elected, 75% or more of us will continue along the same general path we have been on.
It might be fun to pretend that if Trump get's elected America will become a Fascist state or that if Clinton/Sanders get's elected America will become a Communist state, but truth is, things will be more-or-less the same regardless of who becomes president.
That's my opinion at least.

Yeah they all spout a lot of shit, but when it actually comes down to it, 99% of their rhetoric is just that, rhetoric; it almost never becomes policy. The president is just a scapegoat; most of the policies are created in Congress; so really when it comes to politics, them most important thing to consider is the majority of both the House of Reps and the Senate.
But in actuality, the decisions that truly affect people, like new jobs opening up, and cheaper housing, etc, is wholly dependent on the corporations and their policies...
For instance, near where I live a bunch of new apartments were made, which created a good deal of construction jobs; this was because of the corporation in charge of building them, not the government.
We put too much faith/dependence on the government imo.

There is an incredible lawyer in Canada by the name of Rocco Gilati who is currently challenging the government's monetary policy in an unprecedented case. The guy is a real life David (vs. Goliath). Anyway, he says that the political parties comprising most of Western governments and most definitely in North America are like different football teams- they face off against each other but ultimately they play for the same league under the same commissioner, so to speak.

Idk, im sure things will change due to the fact that they do have their own ideals, trump could start another war for oil if he wants, or hillary can supply more guns to nazis, but they can also chill the fuck out and actually work on the economic side of america, like real presidents.
