Addiction to Marijuana - Is it Real?

I was just reading this article that talks a bit about marijuana addiction. I was somewhat confused because I always considered marijuana to be a drug that you couldn't really get addicted to. Are they talking about a non-physical addiction? I'm feeling a bit ignorant here!

Anything can be "mentally addicting". But cannabis is not physically addicting like say for example heroin.

It's not addictive but when I see it I remember the sweet smooth taste of it lol

But i think if you are an avid smoker you might suffer withdrawal effects like insomnia
