I'm in the planning stages of my first grow in close to 20 years I'm starting with a small SOG set up. The space is just under 20cf. I was thinking of using a 70 CFM bathroom exhaust fan that I had in my mushroom green house. I'm pretty sure it will move enough air. My concern is that it won't handle the static pressure of a carbon filter. Will this type of fan work or should I be looking for other options?
o/ hey mudafuka. I've read that the lowest CFM phresh filters do not restrict a noticeable amount of airflow. I guess you only need to account for the static pressure on larger fan / filter systems.
@hawk why wouldn't it be enough to scrub the smell? An air change every 20 seconds would still allow scent to build up?
