General health check on flowering plants
    #772805 - 03/19/15 05:01 AM (9 years, 7 months ago)

Hello there.

I'm just after a basic opinion from some of the experts on here about how these plants are looking currently. I'll just post one at a time so I don't confuse things.

So, first off:
Acapulco Gold
6 months old
Outdoor pot grow in Australia
Flowering for at least 6 weeks now

Anything I should watch out for here or is she looking ok heading into the second half of flowering? Looks like some white spots on the leaves - any idea what that is?

Thanks ladies and gents. Once I hear back I'll post the next one.

Look on the undersides of the spotted leaves.
See mites/mite eggs under there?

Bastards! Am I too far into flower to do anything? Maybe just a good solid hose down to drown them a bit?

Thanks guys.

OK, I got some more questions here and would love some help. Here is another plant with shitty mite damage. This one is Green Poison, been flowering for 6 - 8 weeks outdoor at this stage. How close do you think I am to harvest?

And just as importantly, am I too close to use this to kill some mites? Apparently the active constituent is paraffin oil. The chick at the organic store reckons it's ok to use for 'mint and veggies' etc, but can leave a bit of a taste so recommends a rinse. Thoughts?

I'm still not seeing what's wrong here. Are you talking about that brown area?

I've got a crappy case of spidermites and want to know if I'm too far into flowering to spray them or if that will harm my buds.

I'm pretty new here, and I would wait till someone more experienced chimed in, but if I were you I'd do an organic chili pepper spray. That way you would at least know what your smokeing.

Smokeing spider mite Web sucks.

Thanks man, I hear ya. Anyone else out there know if this is a good idea or not? Don't wanna smoke foul-tasting shizz etc when I harvest, or anything that will mess with the buds so late in flower.

Any experts out there who know if spraying for mites this late is a bad idea?

Thanks Oeric and Hawks, I will let them be. Could you guys take a closer look at my new post on this thread and let me know what you think about harvesting? http://www.growery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/774733/vc/1#774733

Thanks in advance, appreciate it.
