i think we should all consider what music really is. skip to 7:00 minutes to hear his comments, or just watch the whole thing, it's quite an interesting (though simple) TED talk.
post your own TED talks too.

the worlds ugliest music
i don't understand how people cannot hear music in dissonance. this composition was perfectly logical to me, and I enjoyed it. almost like some incidental music (which is actually what it is essentially).

music as language
again, sound, music, vibration, words, language, writing, all the same.

oops
but yeah, I didn't know anyone else played this style of seemingly "random" guitar, so awesome.
PS: I'm not saying I am anywhere near this kids technical level; being that he has practiced piano since age 6, it's a given that his fingering technique is suburb being measure. i'm just saying, i love playing my own guitar in this unorthodox, dissonant style, and don't really care to play "proficiently" as a rule of thumb. i just like seeing what comes out; which is perfectly fine.
i'll upload my own video soon; so peeps can have a look see
my improv, for shits and giggles (note, the idea here was no-thinking, random, no practice [i have only "practiced" guitar for about almost two years now, almost, and by practice i mean like this, and not as in huddling in the corner and really trying to perfect any type of playing other than this. and this was done also during a period of ennui, so i wasn't particularly mindful of anything, and just wanted to expend some energy. so keep in mind, if so that anyone wants to make any comments, that this is just an example of an unorthodox playing style, and not an attempt to "sell" my music as something worthy to compared to anything "good")
