Hello friends,
I just wanted to introduce myself to the community.
I am a Med grower for my anxiety and my wife's Migraines. I grow in soil, organically and I am relatively new to growing.
Right now I am growing some Lady G, a G-13 Hybrid, that I absolutely love!! (2 pics) and I will be doing a grow report on some of the beans I was gifted recently. I hope to learn from those who are here and I hope to be an asset to this community.

here's a tip for shooting macros. When possible, use a tripod, or at least have a sturdy base. When shooting in poor, or low light, holding the camera in your hand will produce blurry shots because the aperture remains open too long and picks up on small shakes.
If you have a way of using a stronger light your macros will come out better. I use a little white LED flashlight to help create better shots.

This thread was moved from Soil Cultivation.
Reason: Moving it over to the main cultivation forum since the topic isn't specifically discussing soil.

Thanks guys!!
Great Pics Coda, I will def be giving your advice the utmost attention!
Thanks for the Kudos fellas, I am mad proud of these plants as they are my second real grow. I took them as clones off a momma and I am very happy with the results so far. My plants are looking pretty good, They are at about 50 Days and I just hit em with some Gravity and raised the lights. I figure 2-3 weeks of gravity and a week to flush... I hope the gravity works as well as my budz told me that it would!! Any suggestions are always appreciated!!

gravity is supposed to be the shiznittle bam snip snap sam from what i've read. Expensive as fuck, but worth it's weight in nugs
Judging from the looks of you plants i'd say you top them? What's the limit on the number of plants you can grow?

Hey coda,
I am glad you heard the same on the Gravity. It was expensive, but because I only flower 3-4 plants at a time, it should last me forever...
Good Eye on the topping! I did FIM top 2-3 times in veg, then LSTed them

I'm assuming there's more to this statement than the simple gravity all earthlings experience? Explain a little pwease?

I think they're talking about:
http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=NEGGR08-2
Gravity is unlike any other flower-finishing product on the market. Gravity fills out flower clusters and increases total flower mass without interfering with flower scent and color. Based on natural ingredients, Gravity is the brother of Bushmaster, the popular plant height controller used at the beginning of flowering. Like Bushmaster, Gravity is recommended for flowering plants and not fruiting plants like tomatoes and peppers due to fruit drop.
The first testers reported modest weight gains with extreme hardening of the flowers, even the smallest ones. Founded on kelp extract, the product was fine-tuned to produce weight gains of 15% with many testers consistently achieving weight gains in the 30-40% range.
Directions: Can be applied alone or with regular nutrients. Nutrient concentration should be reduced by 1/3 when applying this product. If plants are grown under HPS lighting, lights should be raised 6-12 inches.
