Soooo new problem. The tent I have is 5ft high, and 3 feet wide. I did not know that it was so tall, I laid the tent on its side so its 5 feet tall and 3 feet tall. The tent looks too awkward and big when its upright. Will this be okay?
Just growing autos (ryders) so I'm expecting small plants. Any thoughts? I still have plenty of vent outputs and a bar across the top for lighting to hang.

You probably want to use the tent with the 5' height for the first time to see if you can cut out two feet.
For small spaces LED lighting would is ideal. The light gets focused onto a smaller footprint than HID and would allow you to get the light intensity of the higher wattage bulbs but without all the added watts.
Something to consider for the future. I wouldn't recommend buying an LED without doing some research; the LED market is full of a lot of bullshit.

I'm using the tent laying down on its side so 5feet wide and 3 feet tall. its actually a tad bit taller than 3feet. however, if my plants get too tall and close to the light im going to cut a circular hole in the bottom of the tent and dig down a bit to lower the plants into the ground thus giving me more space between the plant and light.
I'm not using an LED light btw, I have a small 150w sunbeam HID light just good enough for a plant or two.
