Regular seed sexing visually!?

This video suggests you can determine if a seed is female just by it having a crater type indent on the end on the seed. Anyone else ever test this out? I actually had 5/6 female trying this, but it could have been a coincidence.

If no one disproves this outright then I'll keep this thread in mind next time I pop seeds.

I dont believe this for a minute since environmental conditions play such a big role in determining the plant's sex.

The rate is not 50/50 nature isn't stupid. Nature knows that one male plant can pollinate several females and the average is usually a higher rate of females to males.
I seriously doubt that you can tell the sex of a seed. There is no way this could get past all the scientist that have been trying to find a way to tell sex of a seed reliably for the past who knows how many years.

My first go-to was the youtube page so I could read the comments and that seems like the most common argument:
Quote:
Only 10% are determined to be female and 10% will be males the rest will be determined by conditions like low nutes and cool temps and white light to get girls.
thenagain everyone on there saying "I tried it" are also saying "It worked", along with high success rates. I hope a heavyweight will come in here so I can stop speculating. edit: ohai magash how are you

Hey what's up SleepAid
Like I said it's common to have a larger amount of females to males cause one male can do up thousands of females outdoors. Nature isn't stupid.
