Glad you asked, they took an exceptionally long time to get to this stage. I would estimate that they are about three months old at this point and in the last picture.
This is my first time growing seeds from this supplier so I hope that they grow true, however I have little doubt of that as a lengthy veg time is typical of trinidad scorpions I hear.
I just began germinating two Scotch bonnets, and aji lemon, and a big bomb cherry.
I'll do a seed giveaway in the spring.

The time frame is certainly not a deal-breaker but it's only a foot tall and I see no sign of it having any interest in doing anything other than continue slow and steady growth for the forseeable future..
What kind of peppers do you have going on sham?

I believe they are the tiny red/green chili peppers, The super spicy ones. I was given the plant so I didn't grow them from seeds.
Seeds I DO have are: Tobacco Rustica, Nightshade, Poppy seeds (I need to find them), Trichocereus Bridgesii (not for trade), and some random cannabis seeds. Not a lot but I am willing to trade some. I also have some spore prints.

I will have to write my list later today, it's a considerably diverse one and not something I can replicate from memory.
None of those you listed are really in-line with any of the projects I have going on right now but I would be happy to send you a couple varieties of pepper seeds to flesh out your collection.

You are a man of men, those Carolina Reapers are no laughing matter hot. Co-worker of mine plays with those and ghost in his home made wing sauce and one or two go along way.
Good thread.

Good thread.
Thanks man, I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I actually got those carolina reaper plants from a large russian guy who had to stop growing them because he was developing GI problems from eating them. These seeds came from ed curry so I have every reason to believe that the fruits from these plants are not to be fucked with.
Ghost chilis are part of my daily diet, but they taste amazing and only rate 855,000shu (on average) compared to 2-3x in a scorpion or reaper (which I have not tried yet). I've heard reapers just taste like death, and scorpions have too sharp a heat to taste anything, so a lot of what I'm going to be doing will be trying to make sauces that can feature the taste of the pepper while negating some of the heat. Or even see if the taste is worth messing with. Should be interesting, at least to me.
btw ben, I'm damn sure not going to be able to use all of the peppers that I will produce in the next coming months, I would be happy to mail you some kind of hellsauce or fresh fruits so you can pull dares on your co-workers or bring them to a bbq were people are drinking or something.
Same goes for anyone else here, who might be interested in peppers or sauce. As long as you're not a well-hated member (since I pay the shipping), I have no problem clearing people's curiosity/colon.

Yeah surely! That is a very nice offer!
I have had the trinidad scorpion in sauce as well and it is just too hot. That is amazing you eat ghost like that. For me hot food is more of a pain is pleasure thing but everyday I cannot do. Plus it is a reason to have lots of beer!
