In Dec., I started 4 seeds found in a bag sold as Acapulco Gold. (It came from Atlanta and was a decent sativa high ).
At 4 weeks old, I topped and rooted all 4. Once the cuttings are established, how long should they grow before I can 12/12 them to determine sex? I just want to eliminate any males among the original 4 plants.

You can cut the lights back right when you take them. They may show signs even before they root.

Yup^
I find that anything less than 24hr light and clones would show hairs when I wasn't looking to have them do that...
Its as if cutting them triggered a flower response. Maybe something with a rootless plant not handling dark or something..

you could also label the plants and when they are big enough to take a cutting put the cutting into flower. Just make sure you label the cuttings as well so you know which cutting came from which plant
