I am currently enrolled in an Organic Chemistry Class but I'm not very far into it to understand this equation. I am very interested in What exactly happens when you add Butane to the THC. Does it make a new molecule, or does it put it simply in a different structure?
If anyone would be able to point me to what type of reaction this is and how to walk through it to understand why it happens?
It does nothing to the thc it dissolves the outside of the gland-head so the insides can be collected in the solvent. The solvent is then evaporated off and your left with the oil that consists of the insides of the gland heads. The gland heads are where the thc is located. That's pretty basic but I think it covers it.
