i think macs are complete shit. my sister has a macbook (not sure what model) and its what i have to use whenever im visiting home. its POS and constantly crashes. so you have to take the fucking battery out to get it to restart.

Garbage pretty much. I used to want one. The laptop itself isn't garbage but you can get another brand notebook with all the same specs or better, for way less. You are just paying for the name. If money isn't an issue and you want an apple logo on your notebook, then get one I guess...
Otherwise there's other notebooks that are pretty much the same for way less, or even better than the macbook if you still want to pay macbook prices. In addition you can run OSX on other computers (should be intel based I think(?)) if you like the apple OS.
