Anyone else casing towns? Vegas has a lot of talk recently and Illinois is legal now. Electrical rates aren't bad either.

Water I'm not sure but with the hydro plant up the way it's not like it has far to go to get to the city.

Be smart about it, if your looking to make money then look for towns that have clubs but a low number of growers. Palm Springs has tons of clubs but jack shit for growers. Been a gold mine for a while for me anyway. I went into a club and told them to make me a offer. He said he could only give me 1800 for a half lb. I would have given him the whole lb for that. (it was just Soma's version of Diesel) You know that feeling when you have fireworks going off in your head and you just wanna go "FUCK YEAH!!! but you have to keep a poker face. Been doing that in Palm Springs ever since.
I ended up setting up a garden in one of the surrounding towns on the other side of the mountains about 40 miles away. You can beat the heat by doing that otherwise get use to it being over 100f everyday during the summer.
It's a goldmine for growers though.

The law seems to be too strict for it to actually happen in reality ( I.e. gov run dispensaries which there are none of). But if it does become a reality I'm all over the Chicago suburbs.

That's what I am waiting to see about. Honestly I bet the state will end up growing it for the patients. I bet if anything man.
If not that, then it will be a matter of the highest bidders getting contracts to grow it.IDK for sure, but it seems likely, especially like you said, its extremely strict.

Yeah that's what it seems like but it might not be all bad if there's enough licenses. Seems like they are dragging their feet.
