Flying to a legal state from a medical state

So I was reading up and apparently it is legal to have up to an ounce of bud on your person in the Seattle Airport. Since the Port of Seattle owns and runs the Airport. I also read the city of Los Angeles owns and runs LAX. If one were to fly from a medical state to a legal state and they were to find a small amount (7 grams or less) do you think that would be illegal in the medical state? Just curious as legally you can fly with 8 ounces or less within the state.
