 any reports on 1st day of legal mj sales?

I am stuck on the east coast and have not seen any reports on how sales are going in the 2 legal states. Everything going well? Any problems? Fill us in with some eye reports and other news if you in a legal sales state please...

From what I heard there will be only a few stores opened today and more will be opening in the coming weeks/months.

Sounds about right, I had read that Washington's taxes were going to be hella ridiculous...to the point that the price per gram for legal weed would approach the going rate for illegal weed.
Kinda sucks that they are almost eliminating a good motivator for people to buy legal weed...but then again if I was in a state that allowed a few plants I wouldn't be buying anyway, and would probably gift an oz. to someone every once in a while just for the hell of it.

We tried to go really late in the day and it was crazy. There were people directing traffic and shit at 6pm. The guy asked us if we'd been earlier and got a ticket so we could come back, which we didn't. That's as far as we got and I was really only going to be part of day 1 and maybe get some free shit 
My old lady was telling me they had over $1,000,000 in sales.
In other news, I renewed my MMJ card yesterday with a standard 6 plant count. The whole thing cost me $30, including Dr., notary, state fee, and certified mailing.

$30 is so cheap, its still almost $300 for everything in my state.

i drove by a few of the rec stores with my out of state friends. they wanted to stop and get some weed, but the lines at all the stores wrapped around the buildings. all the news placs said 8ths were 50-70 bucks and the wait to get into the store is 4-5 hours.
so i just went to my dispensary and bought a bunch of dank and only paid 7.3% tax

A lot of dispensaries have deals with certain doctors so you'll sign them up as your caregiver and they can grow your plants. That's what this was and in fact, the original ad said, "Get legal for $15" but they changed it.

those were all bomb shelf 8ths, which are $45. top shelf is $35, and bottom is $25. but pink house has only had top and bomb lately.
their BHO goes for anywhere from 30-60 a gram. the 60 a gram is dewaxed which means they put it in a cryogenic freezer so the plant waxes fall out so they can filter it.
*all the prices i listed are member prices. if you're not a member itll be a lot more expensive. an ounce of top shelf for me is $220, for a non member the same ounce would cost $320.

Grow your plants? As in take your grow rights from you?
Collectives here in my state try to do the same thing and its all for profit. They say that they will grow for you, teach you everything you need to know and you can even help tend to the plants AND you get 15% off of all purchases. Its all a big joke, they take your grow rights and you never see anything because of it except their profits because with less people growing their own, the more product they can sell.

in colorado you can have a primary caregiver and still grow your own plants. i have a higher plant/weight count though, not the state's 6 plants 2 ounces, i can grow 25 plants and 9 ounces. i signed over 6 plants to pink house, so i can grow 19
what state are you in?
