So, this is my first post here on the growery, but I've been with the shroomery under the same name for a while. On May 10th, I planted 3 bagseeds.
Date planted- May 10th
Grow Medium- All Natural soil (Not store-bought)
Light source- Sunlight all day long
Strain- Not sure. I was told it's maddog10/20, but as far as I know, that strain doesn't exist. So I'll just call them bagseeds.
Area- Michigan woodlands. Highly nutritious soil, so I didn't add any potting soil or any store-bought dirt.
So it's been about 10 days since the day I planted. I did not germinate them, I just watered the soil and popped them in 1/2 inch deep. I figured since it's my first time, I would probably mess it up. Anyways, a few days after I planted the seeds, there was a change in the forecast and the temperatures dropped to 40 and 50 degrees daytime, and it even frosted one night. Well, two days ago, the temperatures shot up, aswell as 2 of the 3 seeds I planted. It is now 80 degrees outside, and the seedlings are doing great. Yesterday I used a small amount of diluted urine (1 parts urine, 15 parts water) to give them a little boost since I don't really have any fertilizer. It wasn't much since I didn't want to hurt them, but they seem to have taken it well because they are even perkier today. These pictures are of them a few hours ago, and I'll upload more as time goes by . Thanks

Using Piss?
Those will not need a feeding for a month or so.
Using just the sun sucks ime. They wont get that big and you are kinda late in the season as well so that wont.help you.

Yeah, it's been debated for a while, and I don't have much experience so I can't testify it, but when diluted it's supposed to have beneficial vitamins in it. I don't really have any fertilizer right now, and I should probably pick some up, but I kinda wanted to keep it natural if you know what I mean.

Not here in michigan. It's very cold in early spring here and I kind of took a risk for planting as early as I did considering the following week was almost below freezing at points.

The smell of pee keeps deer away. Deer like to eat the buds.
I would pee around the area but not too close to the plants. My grandfather used to pee off the steps on the snow on the mountains plants at his house and they never grew good by the steps. Then he died. Then the snow on the mountains did awesome by the steps. I would pee around the area but not too close to the steps.

Well yeah haha that's a good idea. I think I'll pee around the area, but the pee I used to feed them was diluted by far

I have heard it is good to plant bait plants like cabbages so the animals eat those instead of your herb plants.

Yeah good idea. But I ended up receiving a plant that is already about 10 inches high from a friend who needed it off her property and said if I finish growing it for her I'll get 40% of the bud, so I'm not too angry considering the strain (Jack Skellington) has pretty nice reviews compared to my 2 unsexxed bag-seeds, so I'm not too pissed

yeah its always good to go with a good attitude so that you don't get too caught up on the small losses and keep working towards bigger things
